The Irish American Heritage Festival is a grand weekend which brings together thousands of Chicago’s families, celebrating the best in Irish music, dancing, food, and cultural exhibits–fun for the entire family. The festival benefits the Irish American Heritage Center (IAHC) which is dedicated to recognizing and strengthening Irish American culture and heritage. The 26th annual Irish American Heritage Festival is July 8, 9 and 10, 2011. More than 15,000 Irish Fest fans attend the fest each July at the IAHC, located at 4626 North Knox Avenue, Chicago.
Irish Fest showcases the finest in local and international Irish and American music, dance and family activities. The festival directly supports and is held on the grounds of the Irish American Heritage Center. It is the Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
